An Open Appeal To Film Studios

I was not happy with the lack-luster reviews of “Captain Marvel” just after a disappointing showing of “Star Wars - Solo.” It seems the makers of Science Fiction films are having a little trouble. So it begs the question, as an avid Sci-Fi fan from the ’60s and author of an Amazon 5-Star rated Sci-Fi novel, "Wormhole Moon," how did the folks of both studios get this so wrong?

Any Sci-Fi fan can tell you the obvious: they focused on everything else but making a great film, i.e. feminist messaging, pushing a global agenda, portraying personal views instead of focusing on the “Voice of The Fans” (VOF), etc. Do you guys even know who your fan base is? When is the last time you put down your double-mocha-lattes and got out of the office? When is the last time you even engaged the fans?

I believe Solo had a budget of $250M and “Captain Marvel of $152M. I would think after investing this kind of money to make films, you would get a “lock” on the fan base and validate what they like. Or maybe I am missing something.

Respectfully, here is my appeal to savvy film studios. Would you consider working with us? Would you seriously consider co-producing a film with us? We Know Sci-fi and Sci-fi fans. I have outstanding material and we would like the opportunity to prove it. We think that we can do it with a third of “Marvel's” budget, even less. How about it? What do you say fellow Sci-fi fans, do you support us? If so, please leave a comment. Thanks!

Kind regards,
